Session 5:Assignment One Question : Think of the small database we used in our lab exercise - Products and Suppliers. Briefly describe how this database observes any two of the four design principles outlined above.
According to our lab exercise of the Products and Suppliers. We used the small databasae to develop a table for the relation data, which is the primary step to input the data to the system. We do set up the rows and columns on the each table to divide the items and description and each table only for one object.
So, we have to set up a several database if the object is more than one. we don't combine the different data by one table. There have two princiles for the relational database, duplicate information, correctness and completeness of information which is very important and can't make any mistakes. Otherwise the general reorts will be contain incorrect information and misinformed.

  1. Regarding the 2nd paragraph - "So, we have to set up a several database if the object is more than one. we don't combine the different data by one table" - I think what you mean is that we can keep information about different kinds of objects in a single database. There's no need to set up separate databases, however, within the single database, each table must focus on one subject or kind of object only.

We were also able to use the MS ACCESS Report Wizard to easily design a customized report by answering a few questions.
